I name before you all Frodo of the Shire and Samwise his servant. And the bards and minstrels should give them new names: Bronwe athan Harthad and Harthad Uluithiad, Endurance beyond Hope and Hope Unquenchable.
The friendship between Frodo and Sam is one of my favorite themes in LOTR - both the book and the film. I tear up everytime I read/watch the scenes of their ascent to Mount Doom.
I love how Sam realizes that there is a way he can share and ease Frodo's burden - he can't take his place, but he can (and must) accompany him. Their roles are different, but equally vital and irreplaceable.

Totally agree with what you wrote 
This is the best scene - in the book as well as in the movies. That sentence struck me in my cinema seat more than 8 years ago and so it still does today - that's why I think about getting some kind of LotR-tattoo that contains these words in some way
