If they can spend billions of dollars to essentially 'rebuild' shephard, they can spend a couple mil to maybe augment Joker's legs so he can use them, you'd think. XD I'm just sayin' ... not that Joker needs them, as he's already a better dance, but still.
You know, I don't know if anyone from BioWare ever confirmed or denied it, but I assumed Joker did get some kind of "upgrade" between ME1 and ME2. He does seem to be stronger and able to walk better in ME2.
I'm not a fan of models (or Vanderloo in particular) either, but I don't know, IMO his face is fitting for male Shepard (a couple of creepy expressions aside ). Maybe it's because I'm used to that face on posters and trailers, or maybe it's because my very first Shep was a Sheploo (but that's a long story ).
You know, a couple of months ago I walked past the window of a shop, and there was this huge panel with the close-up of a man. I went like, "Wait, that's Shep!" but when I went back to take a closer look I noticed the shop was a perfume shop and the face was just Vanderloo's. Oh, the disappointment.
Oh, I couldn't even make it through the character generator with the default face. I've never used defaults for either gender. The hero of all humanity can't look like an underwear model. It's just not right.
My favorite moment is the joke bioware made of Shepard's shitty dancing. During Samara's loyalty mission you are given the option to dance with one of the asari that are dancing in Afterlife. If you choose the renegade option Shepard dances like a tool and scares the asari off.
